On February 1, 2017, the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB) instituted an IPR petitioned by Unified on a patent owned and asserted by Shipping & Transit, LLC (formerly known as Arrival Star, Inc.).  The Board instituted trial on all claims of U.S. patent 6,415,207, a patent asserted more than 100 times in district court throughout the past ten years.
