On September 23, 2022, a new PATROLL contest, with a $2,000 cash prize, was added seeking prior art on U.S. Patent 6,920,494, owned by Focus Global Solutions, an NPE and Jeffrey M. Gross entity. The ‘494 patent generally relates to a storage area network (SAN). The patent has been asserted against NetApp, Dell, VMware, Broadcom, and Oracle.
