Invalidity Claim Charting Tool

Pearl is the most advanced AI-based invalidity claim charting tool focused on helping counsel improve their efficiency. Quickly and inexpensively generate invalidity charts to improve overall patent quality.

Pearl achieves this by assisting counsel accurately mapping individual claim elements to relevant prior art in 10% of time that is usually necessary.

The tool can use prior art from patents, standards documents, product descriptions, scientific literature, non-patent literature (NPL), or AI-generated options.

Once a claim chart is generated, Pearl includes quotations mapped to each limitation in a table format along with its citation. Users can export into Word, PDF, Excel and CSV. 

PATROLL contestants can now use Pearl to create invalidity claim charts faster and more efficiently than if they were creating them by hand. Researchers will be required to submit invalidity charts that address every limitation of the challenged claim. This may require using more than one prior art reference.

PATROLL researchers are therefore strongly encouraged to use Pearl to generate claim charts. Each PATROLL researcher can generate as many as 10 invalidity claim charts per month using Pearl.
