Corrigent networking patent invalidated

On March 5, 2024, the Central Reexamination Unit (CRU) entered a final rejection of the challenged claims of U.S. Patent 7,330,431, owned and asserted by Corrigent Corporation, an NPE. The '431 patent is directed to bandwidth assignment in logical network topologies. The patent is being asserted against Cisco, Dell, and Arista Networks.

Portsmouth Network Corp communication patent challenged

On March 5, 2024, Unified Patents filed an ex parte reexamination proceeding against U.S. Patent 8,014,394, owned by Portsmouth Network Corporation, an NPE. The '394 patent is generally directed to methods and systems for delivering multicast traffic over communication networks. It has been asserted against Cisco and Juniper Networks.

IQar automotive patent prior art found

Unified is pleased to announce prior art has been found on U.S. Patent 10,882,399, owned by IQar, Inc., an NPE. The ‘399 patent generally relates to power management in vehicle engines and has been asserted against Tesla.

More particularly, the invention involves a point of advertising wireless commerce system to enable pervasive commerce with mass media publications.
