Unified is pleased to announce prior art has been found on U.S. Patent 7,068,684, owned and asserted by Estech Systems IP LLC, an NPE. The ‘682 patent relates to a system and method to enhance information utility and intelligence on digital networks. It features the creation and manipulation of information containers with dynamic registers. The patent has been asserted against First National Bank of Central Texas, Frost Bank, Guaranty Bank & Trust, WatchGuard Technologies, Eagle Eye Network, and Fifth Third Bank.

Anonymous Media ad monitoring patent challenge instituted

On October 28, 2024, less than three months after Unified filed an ex parte reexamination, the Central Reexamination Unit (CRU) granted Unified’s request, finding substantial new questions of patentability on all challenged claims of U.S. Patent 8,756,622, owned by Anonymous Media Research Holdings, LLC. The ‘622 patent relates to media monitoring and measurement systems. The patent has been asserted against Samsung and Roku.
