On April 10, 2025, Unified Patents filed an ex parte reexamination proceeding against U.S. Patent 12,058,042, owned and asserted by Morris Routing Technologies, LLC, an NPE. The ‘042 patent relates to path-based data routing in a network. It is currently being asserted against Verizon, Samsung, T-Mobile, and AT&T.
